This year’s annual Remembrance Ride will honor Ryker Moore, one of the two juveniles were found dead after a hillside collapsed and pulled them into the falling debris at Shasta Lake in 2024. The Remembrance Ride was established by the Redding Police and Fire Departments post 9/11 to honor fallen first responders. We honor Ryker who is the son of Sgt. Brian Moore.
Sgt. Moore will be leading the Remembrance Ride which will take the motorcycle riders from Redding to ride over Shasta Dam and then return to the final destination on Hilltop Drive. Also riding will be the Patriot Guard Riders, motor officers and civilians competing in the Cops and Cones and Sundial Throwdown Competition and civilians wishing to ride to honor Ryker.
Ride staging will open at 4:4 p.m. and the ride will leave at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Riders/Passengers registration fee is $20 per bike. There is an optional dinner at Red Lion Hotel for $50 per person. Check the link for registration information.
