Big changes for this year’s Big Bike Weekend! It’s been over ten years since there was the Redding Police Department invitational motor competition! Everyone will be able to watch these amazing local and visiting officers maneuver their duty bikes (which carry a lot of extra weight than our regular bikes) through a specially designed course.
New -For the civilians, the California Motorcyclists Safety Program/CHP will set up the “lollipop” pattern. New and experienced riders can test their skills in this pattern, similar to the one at the California DMV.
New – Another new program being offered this year is the Suspension class. Suspension affects the comfort of your ride. We have a top trainer from Southern California to teach this class.
New – To round out the educational programs, the STOP THE BLEED® training course will be offered. Whether you’re a rider or not, this training will help you become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.
If you’re an experienced rider looking to make some additional money, we will have a session on becoming a motorcycle instructor.
Plus, the Remembrance Ride honoring first responders, the Sunday poker run, the bike show, and vendors.
